The violet variety Le Macho blooms with dark purple flowers, and sometimes they have a burgundy tint and a wavy white edge. Each flower is shaped like a star, with a diameter of 4-7 cm.

Design features
The Thermalright Macho Le Grand is based on a massive 900 gram radiator with an original shape. Its design consists of seven nickel-plated copper heat pipes with a diameter of 6 mm each, piercing 35 aluminum plates, the number of which has increased compared to previous models. The latter have a thickness of 0.5 mm and are located at a distance of 2.9 mm from each other.
The extraordinary design of the radiator is due to the use of modern technologies to improve the convection and air circulation between them, for which purpose multiple special slots were made. As a highlight to the external design, the developers painted the top plate in matte black.
The large copper base, like the heat pipes, is completely nickel plated. The developers used a larger area of the radiator base for better efficiency and the possibility of using Macho Le Grand on Intel Core i7 socket 2011/2011-3 central processors. What this manufacturer never has any questions about is the polishing of the base, which is done at the highest level to a mirror finish. To prevent damage and scratches, it has a protective film.

Installation
The installation process of the Thermalright Macho Le Grand cooling system should not cause any difficulties; everything is written in detail in the user manual with schematic images of each of the steps. At the first stage, the support plate and the insulating substrate are combined, and then the screws are inserted into the required grooves of the backplate. Then install it into the motherboard socket. At the next step, we install metal stands with plastic washers glued to them to avoid damage to the tracks of the printed circuit board.

Now the fun begins! There are no problems with one of them, but for the second we need a proprietary screwdriver with a magnetized tip, which is convenient for solving such problems. The fact is that this screw is located in a hard-to-reach place - in the center of the radiator. To do this, the developers made a special cutout in all plates, which allows such an operation to be performed, and this is very easy to do with a long screwdriver.
The installation is complete, it's time to look at the imprint of the thermal interface applied to the heat distribution cover of the central processor.
As expected, all the excess was squeezed out, the trace itself is confirmed by a small hump at the base of the radiator, but it’s too early to worry: we will see all the pros and cons of the cooler during tests.
Finally, it is worth demonstrating the type of assembly. I would like to note that since our sample is positioned as a passive type cooling system, that is, without using a fan, it would be advisable to install the Thermalright Macho Le Grand in such a way that its head part is located closer to the rear case fan. Moreover, this approach provides unhindered access to the RAM slots, which allows you not only to remove the RAM sticks, but also to use them with radiators of different heights, and, if necessary, to easily install a fan on the radiator.
The final assembly looks like this: The distance between the cooler plates and the case fan is 21 mm.
How to care for violet
With any deviation from the rules of care, the violet shows dissatisfaction with its appearance. With a long absence of watering or, conversely, with frequent additions of water, the violet begins to wither. Given this fact, you should adhere to a watering schedule of approximately every two days.
For better absorption and distribution of moisture, it is better to water using the bottom method. In this case, pots of violets are placed in a large container with warm water, so it will be absorbed to the desired level. Pots with plants need to be removed when moisture on the surface layer becomes visible.
Entering the active growth phase of the Le-Macho violet involves additional feeding. It responds well to liquid fertilizer applications along with watering, once every 7 days. You need to add half as much product to the water as indicated in the instructions.
Why prune violet Le-Macho
Violet leaves grow in three rows, with new leaves growing in the center and the lower ones dying off. Every time the fourth row of leaves forms, it must be carefully cut off, this is a disease prevention.
When pruning the leaves, a small trunk may be visible on the violet bush - this slightly reduces the decorative qualities of the variety. Some years, the solution may be to deepen the trunk when replanting the plant.
To form the correct shape of the Le-Macho violet rosette, it needs to be turned with a new side towards the light every week, this will ensure uniform growth of the leaves.
Wilted flowers along with peduncles must be pruned; this must be done with sharp scissors. To maintain the neatness of the bush, it is necessary to remove dried, damaged leaves.
To grow beautiful and well-formed violet bushes, it needs to be replanted 4 times in the first two years, with an interval of 6 months. Replanting is carried out without removing the old soil; to do this, simply move the earthen ball into a large container and add fresh soil. Plants older than 3 years old need to change the soil completely or partially.

Hello, forum members and site guests. Today I will show you the flowering of my standard violets. Most of the standards live on my windowsill in natural light. And now, at the beginning of summer, my window sills turn into flowering meadows.
I’ll start the show with a variety that I don’t often see in collections - this is the Korshunova variety EK-Exotica . “Terry soft pink flowers-buds with a wide purple-red border and a bright light green fringe. Bright exotic flowers! Neat exhibition rosette. (Description by the author)
I purchased this variety as a child at the very beginning of the formation of my collection. The purchase was, as they say, at random. I wanted something pink with a green ruffle. I chose from several varieties in the DF and, for some reason, they advised me to take the baby of this particular variety. She sat with me for quite a long time and grew slowly. I didn't pay much attention to her. And this winter I waited for the first flowers. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a photo then, because the flowers didn’t impress me at all, although they corresponded to the description. But this spring the violet blossomed and began to produce peduncle after peduncle. And it turned out to be almost a cap flowering:
The flowers of this variety are a very delicate light pink color with a bright dark pink-lilac border-spray, and along the edges of the petals there is an intermittent green ruffle.
Flowers last a very long time. Here's another photo of the flower.
The peduncles are a little long, but the abundance of flowers completely compensates for this shortcoming. This violet bloomed for me from March to early May. And when I was about to write this article, it bloomed again with larger and more double flowers.
I read somewhere that EK-Exotica is a capricious variety. My specimen turned out to be not capricious at all, I would even say completely unpretentious. I can’t say anything about the “neat outlet” (as described by the author), because... I had this outlet where I had a little free space. As a result, she turned out to be quite “shaggy”.
Next - LE-Macho . According to the flower description: “Very large semi-double burgundy-violet-black stars with a clear white wavy border.” Here's my version:
It turned out to be a chimeric sport! I really liked this option. The LE-Macho variety was purchased along with other varieties whose flowers are burgundy-violet-blue in color with a white or greenish border - I had such a period. And I’m very glad that such a sporty chimera bloomed in me, and not a varietal purple flower with a white border. This is the case when you enjoy the sport more than the variety.
The flowers are very large (up to 7 cm) in the shape of a star. Unfortunately, they don't last long. Flowers bloom sequentially, so it’s impossible to get a photo with a lush head of flowers - a fading flower is sure to get into the lens and spoil the whole picture. The positive thing is that the variety is unpretentious and blooms constantly.
The next variety from the “burgundy-violet” series: LE-Chateau Brion (Lebetskaya) “Large double dark wine-ruby velvet stars with a thick, slightly corrugated white border on good strong peduncles. Abundant flowering. The green leaves are slightly wavy and elongated. Neat outlet."
I can’t boast of cap flowering - the peduncles are a bit long. At the same time, the flowers are very spectacular.

The socket is pretty neat
The outlet is still young. There were no hassles or problems when growing this variety. We will grow up and strive to bloom in a bouquet.
And this is the “sister” of LE-Chateau Margaux - a recognized sport from the LE-Chateau Brion variety.
This outlet is truly the “sister” of LE-Chateau Brionu shown above. They grew from one leaf! These are the wonders of nature. The flowers at Chateau Margot are very large and double. White with greenish lower petals. And in some flowers the center is slightly tinted with a bluish-lilac color.
The socket is very neat and compact. Blooms constantly. Flowers last a very long time. This rosette stands on my windowsill in natural light, and it bloomed all winter.
And now a head of flowers from the industrial chimera Myrthe (Humako). I found this description of this chimera: “Industrial chimera has all the qualities of Saintpaulia varieties grown on an industrial scale. Dark green quilted, rounded foliage, easily forming a show-quality rosette, harmoniously combines with a lush bouquet of snow-white pansies with corrugated petal edges, along the center of which there are bright radial fuchsia stripes.”

I rested all winter. And in the spring it gained strength and bloomed with a gorgeous bouquet. Here's a floral carpet.
Like many industrial violets, they are not capricious.
And another violet with ruffles, Rosie Ruffles (D.Harrington) “Single or semi-double light fuchsia star with a light, heavily lacy edge, tall strong peduncles, medium green foliage, well pubescent, wavy.”
“Pink ruffles” - the name of the variety speaks for itself. Very “fluffy” flowers of a deep pink-fuchsia color. Very lush flowering.
This variety was recently shown by Alena Buryakova. Our sockets are “sisters”. This variety has a very even, neat rosette. But there is one drawback - the rosette quickly gains leaf mass. The stem lengthens and the heavy rosette begins to sway in the pot. Otherwise, the variety is unpretentious and easy to care for. And besides, it pleases with constant abundant flowering.

At the same time, its flowers begin to become smaller, quickly fade, and lose color intensity. The outlet may also react negatively to the content. If you don’t take care of it, the flower stalks will be small, weak, and unable to fully bloom, that is, they may fall off at the formation stage. The central processor was an Intel Core i7 4770K CPU, which was overclocked to 4400 MHz at a voltage of 1.35 V.

If you remove all the buds and flower stalks two days before placing the plant in new soil, the violet will quickly recover and will soon delight you with fresh buds.
Seating rules
Transshipment, that is, replanting into a larger pot without shaking off the roots from the old soil and adding fresh soil, is allowed only if the plant lived in the previous container for no more than six months. In the same way, you can plant “babies” from an adult plant.
When the rosette is twice the diameter of the pot, it is necessary to transplant it into a larger one and completely replace the soil.
The pot for the plant is not small, but it has begun to wither - the soil has become acidic, and the Macho violet can no longer grow in it. The old soil must be completely removed from the roots, and the flower must be planted in fresh soil.
