Saintpaulia

The plant is also called “Uzambara violet” and is distinguished by outstanding decorative qualities. However, as well as positive energy.

The flower has a charming, pleasant aroma that matches its cute appearance. In addition, the color of the petals of the Uzambara violet is very diverse: there are pink, white, purple, and other shades.

Care

Homemade violets are usually grown in small pots that fit perfectly into any interior. The appearance of this plant brings a touch of comfort to any home.

The plant, like all representatives of violets, must be carefully cared for. Saintpaulia needs plenty of light, and for watering it requires only soft, warm water without metal or bleach. Every three years, the violet needs to be replanted, and it will feel best in a bright, cool room.

Be careful when watering this plant: do not allow moisture to get inside the outlet. Such carelessness can lead to rotting of the leaves. If you care for it with love and care, Saintpaulia will bloom continuously for several months.

Impact

Thanks to the presence of this flower in the house, quarrels in the family will stop, and the love between husband and wife will only intensify.

Spathiphyllum

The popular name of this wonderful plant is “female happiness.” Spathiphyllum comes from the tropics of South America, but despite its exotic origin it is easy to care for.

Externally, spathiphyllum is very beautiful and elegant: it has large leaves of a rich dark green hue, white flowers, on thin tall stems. In general, the flower looks quite exotic.

Care

The main thing is to maintain high humidity in the room. To achieve a suitable level of humidity, it is recommended to spray the flower frequently, especially in winter when the heating radiators are running. In addition, every spring it is necessary to transplant the spathiphyllum into a fresh substrate.

Important: it is prohibited to replant spathiphyllum during flowering.

The unpretentious spathiphyllum feels quite wonderful at a standard room temperature of +18 to +23 degrees. Water the plant more often on hot summer days, and minimally in winter. It should be remembered that with an excess of moisture and cool external temperatures, the growth of the flower can greatly slow down, or even root rot can develop.

Impact

Thanks to the positive energetic influence of spathiphyllum, unmarried girls easily find their other half. The plant also helps to get pregnant. In addition, by growing this flower, you can maintain peace and harmony in your home, and happiness and harmony in your family.

Description of spathiphyllum, features of a houseplant

The name of the perennial, derived from two Greek words “spathi” and “phyllum”, means “bedspread”, “leaf”. I can't think of a more accurate "name". Bright green leaf plates of round or pointed shape carefully protect the flower, which does not have a stem, from the external environment.

The spathiphyllum plant belongs to the Araceae family, which has more than 40 species. The natives of this numerous “clan” are exotic flowers that are not inferior in beauty to the recognized favorites - saffron, orchid and some others.

The foliage and decorative representatives of the Araceae amaze with their unusual “painting” and richness of shades. For example, the leaf blades of the Domino and Picasso varieties are painted in bright, variegated colors.

Not all species are able to exist in modern apartments. Epiphytes that live on the surface of other plants need a natural environment. Some, like amorphophalus, lack space, others lack swampy lowlands.

Many owners who have studied the intricacies of the behavior of Women's Happiness have plants that bloom all year round. In classical descriptions of the flower, this period falls on April-June and September-November.

IMPORTANT! Few gardeners know that spathiphyllum is a poisonous plant. The leaves are dangerous. Therefore, when starting transplantation, you need to take care of rubber gloves. And also make sure that children and pets do not try to taste the plant.

Hibiscus

The flower is the national symbol of Malaysia, and in China it is a recognized symbol of high art. The plant is also called the “Chinese rose” for its charming large and very bright flowers, which look especially beautiful when fully opened.

In Asian countries, females often wear this bright red flower in their black hair.

Care

Hibiscus is a heat-loving plant, so keeping it in a cool room will not suit it. However, the maximum that a flower can withstand is a temperature of up to +35 degrees, not higher.

When caring for hibiscus, it is very important to water it on time. Sufficient and timely moisture is the key to the successful development of the flower.

In late spring and summer, the plant will feel great outdoors: on the balcony, in the garden. But as soon as the weather begins to deteriorate in the fall, the plant must be urgently brought into the house.

Impact

The appearance of a hibiscus in a house promises quick passionate love for its owner. And if a husband and wife take care of the plant together, this will help revive their former feelings for each other and passion. Growing hibiscus by an unmarried girl will lead to the formation of a dense ring of admirers around her.

In addition to its positive effect on the love sphere, hibiscus also activates home owners, stimulates them to work, move forward, and increases energy. And if the owner of the flower is too modest and complex and cannot achieve success because of this, hibiscus will make him more self-confident and persistent.

Botanical characteristics

Spathiphyllum belongs to the aroid family and is a herbaceous perennial. Under natural conditions, it grows in the warm and humid South American tropics. Although some varieties of the crop live in Indonesia.

Spathiphyllum has no stem. Its leaves grow directly from a shortened rhizome and are collected in a dense rosette. Its height is on average about 40 cm, but there are also real giants up to 1 m tall. First, a petiole appears, which over time stretches and narrows to the top, on which a beautiful leaf unfolds. The leaf blade has an oval shape and a pointed tip. It has a pronounced central vein, from which slightly depressed lateral veins radiate. They give the leaf a slightly wrinkled structure, but at the same time it is quite dense to the touch.

Spathiphyllum grows quickly and in just one season its rosette becomes twice as thick due to young leaves. It also readily produces root shoots with which the flower can be propagated.

At the end of spring, tall peduncles, thin but very strong, begin to form from the axils of the leaves. The flower itself is a long spadix wrapped in a white blanket. It consists of small, male and female, flowers, tightly pressed to each other. Each flower lasts up to 10 weeks, then the spathe turns green and dies. Usually, by mid-autumn, flowering ends and the bush retires, without shedding its leaves.

There are also frequent cases of winter flowering of spathiphyllum. This is facilitated by increased air humidity. But house plants do not set seeds. To do this, they must be pollinated by bees, and even then of a special “breed” that exists only in the tropics.

Geranium

A home flower beloved by many, “a symbol of philistinism,” as it is sometimes called.

Care

When growing a flower, it is important to remember that geranium emits a strong and pungent aroma, which can even cause headaches. Therefore, it is better to place the plant not in the bedroom and living room, but in the corridor, on an insulated loggia.

Impact

Geranium lifts your spirits, gives you confidence, helps you cope with stress better and faster, and overcome depression. By growing this flower, you can be sure that big scandals and difficult, painful showdowns in the house will be avoided.

Geranium helps to bring family peace, tranquility and comfort to the home. In addition, the flower promotes the growth of material well-being.

Myrtle

An evergreen shrub plant, strewn with small white buds during the flowering period. Myrtle has outstanding healing properties and can be used in healing. Its aroma calms and puts you in a positive mood (see photo).

Care

Growing myrtle plants is not difficult, but these indoor plants require regular pruning and shaping. The substrate in the pot should always be slightly damp, and regular spraying of the bush is also necessary.

The plant should be kept in a well-lit place, but this light must be diffused and not direct. The temperature needed is moderate: +17-20 degrees is optimal. In winter, the flower is moved to a cool room with a temperature of +7-10 degrees: this measure will provoke lush flowering of the shrub in the next growing season.

Impact

The presence of myrtle in the house makes the union of husband and wife successful. That is why in many countries, newlyweds are given this flower in a pot as a wedding gift.

Many are sure that this particular plant will help a single girl find a gentleman and get married, or help a childless couple have a child.

The plant grows to a height of about 15 cm. In decorative pots, the bright and delicate greenery of the leaves looks very impressive. It is interesting to watch it during the flowering period. At this time, he throws up the hood of the bract, which looks like a white flag.

The ancient peoples of the East paid special attention to roses. They considered this flower the queen of all flowers and a sacred symbol, which is endowed with divine secrets.

Hoya

The plant is also called “wax ivy” because of its unique voluminous flowers, which really seem to be made of wax. Typically, varieties such as “fleshy Hoya” or “beautiful Hoya” are grown indoors.

Hoya comes from India. Externally, it is a small shrub with small voluminous flowers forming ball-shaped inflorescences. The flower has the most delicate, wonderful aroma and surprises with its unusual decorative flowers, as if sculpted from translucent plasticine.

Hoya begins to bloom in the 3-4th year of its life, and its flowers can be either white or pink. But the shape of the buds is the same in any case. Interestingly, in a cramped pot the plant blooms more magnificently and abundantly.

We do not recommend acquiring this plant if someone in the house is allergic to pollen or a strong spicy floral aroma. By the way, hoya flowers open and begin to smell fragrant in the evenings.

The bush attracts happiness to the house, especially if it is in the bedroom.

Care

The plant can only exist in warmth, so it is better to protect it from drafts and low temperatures. It is recommended to keep Hoya in the house at a temperature of +15-22 degrees in summer and +10-15 degrees in winter. The flower requires diffused light, watering with soft water and occasional spraying.

Impact

In many countries, hoya symbolizes genuine love, so the flower is often used as an eloquent valentine. It is best to place a pot with a plant in the bedroom - here its positive qualities will be revealed especially fully.

In some sources you can find an interpretation of hoya as a negative flower. Some esotericists claim that the presence of an exotic plant in the house “pushes” the husband out of the family and provokes him to “leftist” adventures. To be fair, we note that such statements are not made specifically about hoya, but in general in relation to vines and ivy.

Calathea

The plant is very decorative and at the same time unpretentious, despite its exotic origin. It is valued for its beautiful patterned leaves and for bringing happiness into the home. In its homeland, calathea is used by Aboriginal Indians to make household utensils such as baskets, as well as furniture.

Care

Growing calathea is not difficult, and the plant has no special requirements for soil, air or care. The plant is famous for its ascetic character and will easily survive even a temporary (rather long) lack of watering and fertilizing. With irregular care, calathea will “last” for four years, and with good care it can delight with its presence for a very long time.

Impact

Calathea is considered a symbol of a prosperous family life, attracting peace and tranquility to the family.

Aichrizon

The plant is popularly called the “tree of happiness” or “tree of love.” This is a small flower, reaching a maximum of 30 cm in height. The plant has original shaped leaves that resemble hearts.

Externally, aichrizon is a small shrub with fleshy leaves and a thick stem. Its foliage is painted light green, sometimes there are small spots - brown or reddish, whitish. The plant blooms - its flowers are small, yellowish-red.

In nature, it is found in inaccessible rocky areas: where no other flowers can survive. And in this fact, romantically minded people also see confirmation that aichrizon is indeed a tree of love.

Care

An easy flower to grow, which can feel quite good even with not the most careful care. In summer, aichrizon is kept at a temperature of +20-25 degrees, often watered. In winter, water once a week and keep at a temperature of +10-12 degrees. Periodically you need to spray the plant and wipe the leaves with a damp cloth to remove dust.

Impact

True to its “folk” names, aichrizon brings happiness and love to the home.

Reproduction

The easiest way to get this flower at home is to buy it in a store. But many are interested in how to propagate aichrizon, because it is cheaper.

There are several methods:

  • seeds;
  • cuttings.

Seeds

The seeds are sown in a mixture of sand and leaf soil, after which the container is covered with film or glass to increase the humidity in the greenhouse. Once a day, seedlings need to be ventilated and periodically moistened with a spray bottle. The first seedlings hatch 2-2.5 weeks after sowing. When they form several true leaves, they are picked at a distance of 1-2 cm from each other. After another 3 weeks, the seedlings are transplanted into separate cups.

Chlorophytum

A simple plant that can be found especially often in our apartments. Its popular name speaks for itself - “Family Happiness”. Outwardly it looks quite exotic: it has narrow, flowing leaves that create a lush fan. Chlorophytum is grown only as an ampelous flower.

The plant humidifies the air and increases the content of useful components and oxygen in it. This unique healing effect is explained very prosaically: the presence of a large amount of essential oils in the leaves of the plant.

Thanks to essential oils, chlorophytum helps relieve nervous tension, get rid of stress, and promotes complete relaxation. Fatigue and negative thoughts will also disappear thanks to the influence of this wonderful plant.

Care

A uniquely undemanding flower. The only condition is sufficient watering, especially in summer. But it is necessary to grow a flower at home under conditions of abundant lighting.

If you add a little ground activated carbon to the soil where Chlorophytum grows, the plant will purify the air with particular intensity and efficiency. If you grow several chlorophytums in an apartment at once, you won’t have to use artificial air purifiers at all.

Impact

It has been scientifically proven that chlorophytum, in greater quantities than other flowers, is able to absorb harmful impurities from the air. In addition, the plant normalizes the microclimate in the family, leading to happiness and tranquility.

Male happiness and female happiness are always nearby

Next to “Women’s Happiness” they usually plant “Male Happiness”. Anthurium is a plant with red flowers, similar in shape to Spathiphyllum. Together they not only look original, but also, like a magnet, attract family happiness.

Often the store offers seedlings with pink buds. These do not exist in nature; perhaps they were watered with a special solution to make them turn pink. Pay attention to this, don't be fooled.

Dear women, so that women’s happiness will always be with you, let this wonderful seedling be given to you!

Anthurium

The second name of the flower is “Male Happiness.” Anthurium flowers resemble spathiphyllum buds, but only red and much larger. The plant has a highly exotic appearance: bright red leathery flowers cannot help but attract attention.

It is important to remember that anthurium is poisonous and keep it away from pets and children. The tissues of the flower contain caustic milky juice. Contact with mucous membranes causes severe irritation, and ingestion of this juice can cause poisoning.

Care

The plant is quite demanding: anthurium does not tolerate direct sun, requires shading, frequent spraying, high air and soil humidity.

Overmoistening in this case is unacceptable, as is keeping the plant in dry air conditions. These negative factors can even lead to the death of a capricious flower.

Impact

If spathiphyllums bring happiness to ladies, then anthuriums bring happiness to men. Having this flower in the house, a man will enjoy constant and undying success with the fair sex. The plant also has a beneficial effect on the microclimate in the family, bringing prosperity and happiness to the house.

The flower can have a beneficial effect on a man's erection - but for this purpose it is better to place a pot with the plant in the bedroom. The flower symbolizes true passion and promotes stormy love experiences. In addition, anthurium will bring clarity and utmost harmony to a man’s relationship with the woman he loves. The couple’s emotions will be “off scale” in a positive sense.

The flower is sometimes also called “Male Fidelity,” that is, a man, having acquired this plant, will not go left or right. Quite the opposite. But if the anthurium has begun to fade, it would not hurt the wife to watch her husband more closely: perhaps he is interested in someone on the side, or even is already cheating with might and main.

Important: in order for all the positive qualities to be fully manifested, the anthurium must be donated by someone. Preferably, from the heart and with good intentions.

How to plant “Women’s Happiness”

Strongly overgrown specimens of spathiphyllum are planted to obtain new plants and in order to rejuvenate the parent form.
The technology for seating is quite simple and has much in common with transplantation. As in the case of transplantation, it begins with preparing the container, substrate and the plant itself.

  1. A few hours before planting, the flower is watered abundantly or immersed in a container of water until the soil is completely softened.
  2. The earthen lump is removed from the pot. The roots are freed from the soil, washed and, after a thorough inspection, divided (cut) into parts or divisions. Each part must have at least 5 leaves and independent roots.
  3. The cuttings are planted in individual containers filled with fresh soil. The process of planting divisions is similar to replanting, but it is performed with a complete replacement of the soil.

Oxalis

The plant is popularly called “oxalis” because it contains a lot of oxalic acid. The flower has pronounced healing properties and helps with various ailments and ailments.

The shape of the leaves of the sorrel resembles a heart, and the general appearance of the entire plant is that of a fairly overgrown clover. At home, you can grow oxalis with different colors of leaves and flowers: purple and two-color varieties look especially interesting. However, the more common white, yellow and pink varieties are also very cute.

Care

Growing wood sorrel is easy, and you can do it both at home and on your property. Even a beginner can grow this shrub without much difficulty and hassle. It is only important for the plant that you do not forget to water it, keep it in diffused light, and provide a period of rest in winter.

Impact

The plant is called the “giver of happiness” for its ability to attract love and family well-being. Oxalis can completely prevent conflicts and quarrels brewing in the family, and can also relieve household members from depression and overwork.
