Attention : Tatyana Pugacheva was born in 1975. Regularly participates in Russian and international exhibitions, gives lectures at the Moscow House of Violets. Together with her colleague Natalya Skornyakova, she runs the Kursk Violet website, where about 100 varieties she has bred are presented. The collection is constantly updated.
Tatyana Pugacheva is the creator of such varieties as “Vanessa”, “Reed Dance”, “Yaroslava”, “Natalie”, “Painted Veil”, “Elenika”, “Nonna”, “Heavenly Tent”, “Jacqueline” and many others. In catalogs, Tatyana Pugacheva’s violet varieties are indicated with the prefix “PT” . Let's take a closer look at some of them.
Types of flowers - description and photo
"Natalie"
A variety with very large (up to 6 cm in diameter) pink flowers with blue fantasy. The flowers are simple or semi-double with a bright pink eye and a white border. Flowers of various colors and shapes can be presented on one rosette. Two or three buds bloom on each peduncle. Terryiness appears in the second or third flowering.
The variety gives a lot of sports, sometimes you come across a chimeric color . The leaves are dark green with a bright red underside. The variety is very light-loving. Among the disadvantages, flower growers note the weakness of peduncles, which can collapse, unable to withstand the size of the flower.
Violet growers call a sport a spontaneous deviation from varietal qualities. In some cases, resistant sports are identified as new varieties after lengthy testing.

"Elenika"
This variety of violets blooms with large white semi-double flowers with a ruffled border of salad green color. A slight blush is barely noticeable in the center of the flower. The brightness of the border largely depends on lighting and temperature; under some conditions it may disappear and appear in the next flowering.
The terry nature of violets, as a rule, does not appear in the first flowering . The variety blooms profusely. The leaf rosette is medium-sized, green, the same color on both sides. The leaf rosette is medium sized, medium green on both sides.
Important : This variety produces many varieties, including those with curly leaves. One of these sustainable sports has been identified by Tatyana as a separate variety called “PT-Fiona”.
"Dance of the Reeds"
The flowers of this variety are light pink, colored along the edges in pink-lilac and green tones, which smoothly flow into each other. Flowers are simple and semi-double . The bush blooms profusely. Flower growers are captivated by the unusual dirty shade of the petals and the long pink pistil, reminiscent of Pinocchio’s nose. A bush with a neat rosette of two-color leaves (the front side is dark green, the back side is reddish).
"Jacqueline"
The flowers are large (about 5 cm in diameter), double, bright pink, reminiscent of pompoms. The border is red-purple with a rare fantasy blue.
It is worth noting that this variety is not sufficiently stable in transmitting flower color . It happens that during the first flowering snow-white flowers with a narrow pink border bloom, the next time the flowers turn out to be bright pink, and then the bush is covered with purple flowers with a wide white border. Some gardeners note that against the background of a large leaf rosette, flowers sometimes seem small, so the leaves should be trimmed. The variety is heat-loving and light-loving; flowering lasts a little more than a month.
"Angelica"
This variety delights gardeners. The flowers are large, double, with a corrugated edge. The petals are pink with rare blue specks and have a two-color border - crimson coating with a white edge. It blooms profusely and almost all year round. Sometimes the white ruffle is missing in the first bloom. The leaves are simple and green.
"Seraphim"
It is also distinguished by very large flowers, double and semi-double. The petals are wavy, pink with a white center and white edge, a fantasy pattern in the form of dots, stripes and strokes. Blooms profusely. Among the advantages of the variety, one can note strong peduncles . The leaves are green.
"Nonna"
The flowers are very large, simple and semi-double. The color is bright pink, with a scarlet eye in the center. Petals with a purple sprayed border have a white edge and a lilac edge. Powerful peduncles do not fall under the weight of flowers.
In cool conditions, the white border may disappear completely, but the vibrant color remains.
"Cherry Candy"
A variety with large semi-double flowers with a wavy edge . The variety got its name for the cherry color of the flowers; the center and border are white; with a lack of heat, white color predominates. Blooms profusely and for a long time. The rosette of green leaves is very neat.

Good day, dear like-minded people! The New Year is coming soon, I don’t know if I’ll have time to do anything for the competition, so I’ll just show what’s going on in my violet fields and tell you about some newcomers to my collection.
I have already shown Alain-Samantha, the variety turned out to be extremely grateful and long-lasting, I removed the first flowers almost 2 months after opening, here is a rosette in full bloom:
VaT-Monarch was very pleased in all respects: it bloomed together, according to the variety, the flowers are large, the rosette is compact, and even the long-lasting and very diverse flowers on strong peduncles are a dream, not a variety.

Unlike many variegated leaves, this variety bloomed on the shelf immediately, and without any whims.
I have already shown the PT-Heavenly Tent, but here is a variant of winter flowering.
Closer flowers:
When I bought the baby, I was told that the variety was similar to Blue Mist. It’s hard to agree with this when both varieties bloom, like Blue Mist.
Alen-Komandor blooms extremely slowly, the flowers do not open completely, forming cups with edges curved inward.
The rosette of this beauty is not very large, but constantly strives to scatter individual leaves to the sides, like oars on a boat.
I have already shown LE-Aramis before, this year I managed to get at least a small bouquet from it:

The flowers are large, 6-7 cm, and last a very long time without fading or losing freshness.
Finally all the flowers have opened!
Another one of my new items. The variety is not very new - LE-Betelgeuse. The first flowers were disappointing; they bloomed simple and small, but within a week they grew up to 7 cm, and the petals began to curl in different directions.
And the next flowers were already semi-double, as expected by the variety, and quickly caught up in size with their older brothers.
What’s nice is that during the 4-5 weeks that the first flowers hung, they practically did not change color, only faded slightly. I was also pleased with the socket - very compact and almost perfect.
She changed several places on the rack, but was not offended by the castling and continues to throw out flower stalks.
I have already shown the AN-Ivy League too. The variety definitely remains in the collection, because over time the flowers have also become double, since the summer it has practically not rested, blooms constantly, and the falling flowers lie on the closet for a long time, without losing their shape, like exotic butterflies.
Two more new plants bloomed in children under the mother's leaves. DS-Cancan
And WaT-Blue Danube, this variety also turned out to be an absconder, but it was too good, the flowers lasted about 10 days before they fell off, so I will grow them until adulthood.
Now some old varieties. Spring Rose once lived with me for a long time, but this year it snuck into the collection again under someone else’s name, it really wanted to remain a perfect rosette and even flowering, but I blessed it in good hands.
LE-Leto Krasnoe also gave out a luxurious bouquet.
PC-Aristocrat - you can’t take your eyes off it - the flowers are huge, the rosette is a vase.
I’ve had Rondita for many years now, every year and a half I re-root her; before, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t get more than one stepson from a stump from her. And this year she became generous: one of the 2 re-rooted heads gave birth to as many as 4 stepsons.
I left one of the stumps to try to grow stepsons on it, and I got 2 of them.
Winter this year is not particularly encouraging; we managed to photograph the first snow, but by morning it was gone.
