Classification and structure
It is almost impossible to get acquainted with all varieties of indoor violets. They are classified according to several parameters. And they are not always interpreted in the same way by specialists. A unified system has not yet been created:
- Socket size. Even the largest representatives have rosettes that do not exceed 50 cm. They are, as it were, conditionally divided into the following groups according to the size of the rosette: Large (Large standard) - more than 40 cm;
- Standard – 20-40 cm;
- Semi-miniature - 15-20 cm;
- Miniature - up to 15 cm. Among them, many are interested in subminiature (microminiature) - about 7 cm.
